I was born in Cloquet MN, into a family that was big and noisy, and full of creativity and chaos. I attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth and the College of St. Scholastica. I have been involved in Theater my whole life, working both on stage and behind the scenes in design and costuming.
20 years ago when my husband and I married we searched for someone to perform the ceremony that we wanted, one that was legal as well as meaningful to us as individuals and as a couple. Because we couldn't find the right person, we had to choose to have 2 separate weddings; one legal and one spiritual. As the years went by, I continued to see friends and family wanting to get married but having a hard time finding a wedding officiant that suited their needs.
In 1997 I became ordained through the Universal Life Church and registered as a licensed Wedding Officiant with the State of Minnesota, County of Ramsey . Since that time I have helped many couples achieve the wedding ceremony they wished at an affordable price. I perform ceremonies large and small, formal or informal; specifically tailored to be joy-filled and meaningful for the couple getting married.
There are many people who wish to be married in a way that is ceremonious and spiritual, but who do not belong to any one religious tradition. I have found that my love of theater combined with my spiritual understanding creates a unique combination that many couples are looking for.
